Bahtera Siaga Nusantara — "the standby vessel of the archipelago" — is an operational digital platform that connects, verifies, and deploys disaster-response volunteers across Indonesia.
Indonesia sits on one of the most disaster-prone arcs on earth. Volunteers are everywhere — but coordination is hard. BASARA exists to make sure that when a disaster strikes, the right teams, with the right skills, in the right place, can be activated in minutes, not days.
Born from years of grassroots response work, BASARA grew out of the need for a single operational backbone shared by independent volunteer groups, community organizations, and partner agencies. We provide the tools — teams, units, programs, operations, verified skills, donation campaigns — so every collaborator can focus on the field, not the paperwork.
One shared command picture, across every team and every region.
Skills and identities are verified by leaders before deployment.
We exist to serve communities, not bureaucracies.
